LVCC Annual Awards

The final meeting each year is the November meeting. As well as the being the Annual General Meeting, it is also our annual award night.

The following awards are made at this meeting:

• Photographer of the Year (Open)

• Photographer of the Year (Novice)

Photo of the Year (POTY) - selected by the judge of the POTY competition

• Digital Image of the Year (Novice)

• Digital Image of the Year (Open)

• Printed Image of the Year (Novice)

• Printed Image of the Year (Open)

• Photo of the Year

Photographer of the Year is based on the following:

• aggregate of all scores awarded in regular competitions during the year, PLUS

• One additional point for an image awarded a Merit

• Two additional points for an image awarded a Third Place

• Three additional points for an image awarded Second Place

• Four additional points for an image awarded First Place
