Latrobe City - Through Local Eyes

The Latrobe Valley Camera Club is proud to be creating a beautiful, professionally produced coffee table book celebrating the people, places and spirit of Latrobe City.

Over twelve months, from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, our members will capture the stories, events, landscapes and everyday moments that make our region such a wonderful place to live.

Featuring more than 250 stunning photographs across approximately 160 pages, this community project has been made possible through the support of a Latrobe City Community Wellbeing Grant.

Our vision is to showcase the vibrant heart of our region—its people, culture, sporting clubs, arts, natural beauty and community pride. We want to create a lasting visual record that reflects the Latrobe City of today and inspires pride for generations to come.

The project will conclude with the launch of the book, a public exhibition and community celebration in late 2027.
